Modern Renaissance Art Club

Modern Renaissance Art Club was founded on the belief that art flourishes when it is both supported and discussed.

Drawing inspiration from the patronage systems and salons that shaped cultural life for centuries, the club reimagines these traditions for a modern audience—creating a space where artists are financially supported, creative work is taken seriously, and meaningful conversations can emerge around the ideas that shape our world.

Each month, a contemporary artist is invited to contribute to the correspondence. Through a carefully produced archival print and personal letter, members are given access not only to the work itself, but to the philosophy, process, and perspective behind its creation. By participating, members collectively support featured artists while helping cultivate a culture that values artistic practice as an essential part of public life.

Central to the club is the salon: an ongoing exchange between artists, patrons, and the culturally curious. Every edition begins with a mailing designed to introduce new ideas and perspectives. Members are then invited to contribute questions, reflections, essays, and observations of their own, extending the conversation beyond the printed page.

These discussions continue through a monthly podcast featuring the artist, where member contributions help guide a broader exploration of creativity, culture, beauty, and contemporary life.

The correspondence initiates the dialogue.

The salon carries it forward.
